Fail to plan, plan to fail!

This is a mantra that I have heard time and time again throughout my career, my personal development journey and well, life in general.  You might have heard it yourself?  However, I have never actually applied it to my sleep routine…. until now!

Sleep has been the theme for my social media posts this week and the timing has been rather apt!  Due to being under the weather as a result of a summer cold, my quality of sleep has not been the best this week and OMG, have I felt the impact of that! Simple tasks have seemed harder than usual, my emotional resilience when faced with tricky situations has been weaker and I have been VERY forgetful! (Sorry about the Rainbow subs Eeyore!)

One of my key reflections of the week is how my days turn out very differently based on whether I planned, or not, as the case may be, my night time routine with regards to my sleep.
